Safety & Security 

Our nursery is fitted with a full video entry system, allowing parents to buzz their child's own room, a video image will then appear to let staff view the person at the door. This therefore allows a very safe entrance into the nursery. 

 All visitors pressing the office buzzer will only be entered if prearranged. Visitors who do not have a prearranged appointment will only be admitted once a member of staff has cleared entry. Visitors must sign into Rompers and will wear a visitor badge at all times. This is in the interest of your child's safety. 

Rompers also has full outdoor CCTV to monitor the premises at all times. 

Parent Forum

At Rompers we highly value parental involvement within the nursery and have a group of parents who form our Parent Forum. They meet every three months to discuss fundraising, nursery developments, policies and procedures and any other relevant business. 

We encourage any new parent to become part of our Parent Forum. Dates for our Parent Forum meetings are always displayed on our newsletter. 

Getting It Right For Every Child 

At Rompers we are very focused on ensuring our service is individual and appropriate for all our service users. Along with our clear vision and values, Rompers draws upon Getting It Right For Every Child (GIRFEC) to support the implementation of the SHANARRIindicators, which are embedded within GRIFEC. 

 At Rompers it is important to us to ensure all children and young people in our setting are fully supported as they grow and develop. 

GIRFEC supports practice at Rompers, your child and your family at the center of our care and this is supported through the use of a MyWorld booklet, online learning journals and key worker communication. 

Pick Up & Drop Off Service 

At Rompers we have a designated pick up driver, who will be responsible for your child's collection. Any child being collected from a school nursery will always have a manifest for their pick up. This is to ensure security between settings. 

This service operates from home, school or nursery during the school term only. Children will be driven in nursery insured cars by nursery staff at all times. 

 We ask parents to note that pick ups and drop offs can only be accommodated between the hours of 8:30am and 4:00pm.
